Who
in the World Is Martha Grove Hipskind?
Martha Grove Hipskind is a
well-known author, speaker, and trainer who works
in private practice as an eldercare consultant,
based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She offers care
management services to assist families in meeting
complex issues associated with aging, provides
education in a wide variety of community and
professional settings, and brings new insights to
corporations engaged in planning for the longevity
revolution.
Over
the years, Ms. Hipskind has had the privilege of
working with families facing circumstances that
surpass their ability to make sense of them. She
has touched tremendous pain and suffering, but has
also seen the rich gifts that come from the
eldercare relationship. Families have told her
time and again that knowing their experience would
be used to help others would bring a sense of
peace and healing to their lives. And now, she is
excited to be creating the place for that wish to
be fulfilled, opening the way for families - and
all those who play a role in their decision making
- to begin talking and planning for the “what ifs”
of life.
